tartelette- Thank you! They are moist and so fudgey! The pan did not last long. Yes, I don't think I'll ever give up chocolate again. It is just not worth it!

manggy- what gave me away? haha! Times like this, I wish I could send you some fresh figs. They are amazing. I grew up with an abundance of figs having an Italian father, who planted a tree in our backyard. We had figs all the time, consequently and sadly, I only now appreciate them.

The original recipe recommends substituting the figs with raisins, sultanas or dates, which would probably all work if you have them on hand.
